Back in 2015 my dad taught me to fly 🛸 with our new trendy phantom we ventured all around the north east building my hours. He started to use drones for archaeological survey as a new cutting edge tool for the family company @naaheritage. Since dad passed away in 2018 I have been continuously amazed by the legacy that still lives on through his amazing achievements. @hyltoncastle was the first archaeological drone project we did together as a daddy daughter team and it’s gone on to be a finalist in this years @conexcellence Awards 🏆 After a huge reconstruction collaboration effort with @naaheritage and other organisers, it’s set to open it’s doors soon as a living working building that benefits the local community and visitors. #hyltoncastle #daddydaughter #archaeology #djiphantom #dji #northeast
Question! I find the 16C on the surface and 12C on the bottom temperature range quite tricky to plan for 🌡Compared to the extremes in temperature I know some people frequently dive at I recognise this is quite tame! There is always a trade off for me with being able to maintain dexterity to operate cameras and grip but also having enough exposure protection to not get freezing 🥶 on 2-3 hour dives on location doing very little ... just sitting and waiting for nature to do its thing.
